CARBONDALE, Ill. – The University of Evansville men swimming and diving team finished the 2011 regular season with a seventh place finish at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

“We did a good job,” said head coach Rickey Perkins. “The finish was a little disappointing, but we just need more experience.

“We achieved our goal of having more season-best swims, and I’m happy with that,” Perkins continued. “We just have to go back and look at what we can do better and do everything we can to improve for next year.”

Carder LaBrake finished the night with a 19th place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:23.04.
