The University of Evansville tennis team goes after its second consecutive Missouri Valley Conference victory Friday when the Purple Aces (8-4, 1-0) host the Creighton University Bluejays (8-5, 0-1) at Carson Center at 2:00 CDT.  Then on Sunday, the Aces host two-time defending MVC champion Wichita State at 10 a.m.  Evansville plays seven times in the next 15 days, with six of the seven against MVC opponents.

Evansville is led by the 11-1 record of number one singles player Kate Chybowski, an all-MVC selection in 2008 and 2010.  Carolyn Caire is 9-3 overall in singles, including 5-2 at number five.  Aleksandra Dzakula and Pin Sorensen have combined for the best doubles record, compiling a 7-2 mark at number two.  For Creighton, Sarah Cadwallader is 10-2 at number six singles and 10-3 overall.  Mary McMullan has a 9-3 record at five, and is 9-4 overall.
