EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- University of Evansville senior outfielder Jen Stahlhut (Troy, Ill. / Triad) has been named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference second-team for her standout performance this season.  This is the third consecutive year that Stahlhut has been tabbed as an all-conference selection and is the second year in a row that she has earned second-team accolades.

Stahlhut finished in the MVC’s Top-15 in several categories, ranking fourth in doubles (13), seventh in triples (2), eighth in on base percentage (.430), 11th in batting average (.336), 12th in hits (51), and 13th in slugging percentage (.542). She also led the league with 17 walks in Valley play.

Leading Evansville in nearly every offensive category, Stahlhut racked up 14 multi-hit games in her senior season and blasted a team-high five home runs. The only Purple Ace to start and play all 54 games, Stahlhut ends her career ranked fourth at UE in games started (193/197), not missing a contest from 2009-2011.

A 2011 All-MVC preseason pick, Stahlhut wrapped up her career by claiming the third place spot on UE’s all-time list with 49 career doubles. She also ranks fourth in total bases (285) and fifth in career slugging percentage (.445).
