Forty-one year-old former University of Evansville great David Weir helped the Rangers win their third consecutive Scottish Premier League title.  Weir, an All-American with the Purple Aces two decades ago, has been the Rangers' captain since joining them three years ago.  There's another University of Evansville tie to the Glasgow side.  One of the Rangers' top players is Maurice Edu, brother of former University of Evansville midfielder Reggie Edu.
