ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference has announced a record TV package for the upcoming 2012-13 men’s basketball season. 
 
Included in the package is a 48-game telecast package with the ESPN family of networks along with a 36-game package for the Missouri Valley Conference TV Network.  The MVC Network includes Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Kansas City, Fox College Sports, Comcast SportsNet Chicago and ESPN3.
 
The University of Evansville will see at least six television appearances in the upcoming campaign.  It begins with the season-opening tilt at Notre Dame, which will be televised on ESPN3.  The game time is still to be determined for that game.
 
Five of UE’s MVC contests are set to be televised, beginning with the MVC Network coming to town for the Aces’ game against Southern Illinois.  That contest is slated to begin at 8 p.m.  The network will also televise a pair of road MVC games including the Jan. 19 game at Indiana State along with a road tilt a week later at Illinois State.
 
Two more appearances on the ESPN networks await UE in a span of six days.  The home game versus Drake will either be televised by ESPNU or ESPN3 and will have a start time of 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.  Six days later, the home contest against Creighton will be on ESPNU with a tipoff time set for 2 p.m.
