Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS – Freshman Paige Crafton carded a 77 on Tuesday as she tied for 15^th place to lead the University of Evansville women’s golf team to an eighth place finish at the Butler Invitational.
 
Crafton notched rounds of 79 and 77 on her way to a 156.  Three strokes behind her was Cathy Doyle, who shot a team-low 75 to move up to a tie for 26^th.  Doyle improved by nine strokes from her effort on Monday.
 
Sydney Skiles tied for 33^rd with a score of 161 while Dana Hayden was two shots behind with a 163.  Kelly Lamarche rounded out the UE squad with a 169.
 
Bowling Green took top team honors, shooting identical rounds of 300 to take the tournament by 13 shots over Bradley.  The Braves did have the top individual as Danielle Lemek shot to take the individual win.  She shot a 144 to win by three shots over Yuri Otsuka of IUPUI.  Evansville finished in eighth place with a 637.
 
Next up for the Aces is a trip to the Dayton Invitational.  It is set for Oct. 22 and 23 in Dayton, Ohio.
