NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced that both the men’s and women’s cross country teams from the University of Evansville have earned the USTFCCCA All-Academic Award.
 
“This is an outstanding effort for both the Men and Women's Cross Country Teams,” head coach Don Walters said.  “To be ranked 8th for the Women and 25th for the Men in the Nation among all DI Schools, WOW!”
 
In order to qualify, the teams must compile a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or above and have five team members participate in their respective NCAA regional championship.
 
Evansville’s women’s team put forth a 3.65 GPA while the men finished with a GPA of 3.41.  The women finished ranked 8^th in the nation while the men were 25^th overall.
