EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Batesville, Ind. native Colt Ryan picked up his third Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week honor after scoring a career-high 43 points at Creighton before leading UE to an overtime win against Missouri State that gave the Aces the win they needed to clinch the third seed entering the MVC Tournament.
 
In a week that saw the University of Evansville clinch its best league finish in over ten years, Ryan showed why he finished as the MVC's leading scorer in league play.  He began the week with the game of his career at Creighton. 
 
The junior scored a career-high 43 points, marking just the fourth 40-point game in UE history and the first since 1992.  Ryan hit 17 out of 24 shots, was 4-8 from three-point range and finished with six rebounds, five steals and four assists in 41 minutes of action. 
 
He wrapped up the regular season by helping the Aces to an overtime win against Missouri State as he scored 12 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists and a steal.  For the week, Ryan averaged 27.5 PPG, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3 steals per game as the Aces finished the year third in the Valley.
