EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Four University of Evansville student-athletes will be traveling to Indianapolis on Tuesday for the 4th Annual NCAA MSAA Community and National Student-Athlete Day.
The NCAA Membership and Student-Athlete Affairs (MSAA) will host the event, which is intended to recognize the accomplishments of NCAA student-athletes in the state of Indiana who have excelled academically, athletically and in their communities. Focusing on leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork, student-athletes will participate in educational stations and community outreach by mentoring local children and participating in a community engagement activity.
Traveling to the event from Evansville will be women’s soccer player

Jake Schwartz.
Participation benefits the student-athletes in areas such as leadership development, a chance to visit the NCAA national office, and an opportunity to engage with NCAA staff.
