4/3/2012 11:33:00 AM

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- A very strong 2012 incoming class appears to be even stronger with the addition of two more top prospects. Head Coach Mike Jacobs and his coaching staff have announced the addition of Mark Anthony Gonzalez (Toronto, Canada) and Nick Lewis (Beaverton, Oregon).

“Adding both Mark Anthony (Gonzalez) and Nick (Lewis) give our already solid incoming class two more key pieces,” said Jacobs. “Being able to include creative attacking players in midfield and up front will only enhance the solid core of players we will have on our 2012 roster.  We are excited to welcome both of them to the University of Evansville Purple Aces family.”

Gonazalez and Lewis will make up the fall incoming class along with Ryan Coates (Springboro, Ohio), Vincent DiPrimio (Bloomington, Ind.), Faik Hajderovic (St. Louis, Mo.), William “Mack” Hasinger (Morton, Ill.), Nate Opperman (Olathe, Kan.) and Kyle Wilson (Evansville, Ind.).
