Evansville (1-3) will be looking to end a three-game skid Wednesday night, as the Aces fell at San José State, 90-84, Sunday afternoon in San Jose, Calif.  Freshman Sara Dickey paced UE with a game-high 23 points, while junior Mallory Ladd and freshman Sasha Robinson both finished with double-doubles.  Ladd pitched in 16 points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds and Robinson finished the afternoon with 10 points and 10 boards.  Evansville shot 38.2 percent from the floor and sank 25 of its 30 free throw attempts, but the Spartans were able to pull away midway through the second half by forcing 23 turnovers.

Dickey leads a trio of Aces averaging in double figures (16.0 ppg), has added 5.3 rebounds per game and converted on 18 of her 21 free throw opportunities for a 85.7 percent clip.  Junior Kat Taylor ranks second on the team in scoring (11.5 ppg), after pouring in a career-high 21 points at SJSU, and leads the team with 16 assists.  Ladd averages a double-double for UE, posting averages of 11.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per outing.

As a team, Evansville is averaging 64.5 points per game, after putting up a season-high 84 points in Sunday's loss at San José State.  The Aces are shooting 30.0 percent from the field and have struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 21.8 percent of their attempts from long range.  In addition, UE sports a 76.3 percent free throw percentage and a +2.0 turnover margin, as it is forcing 18.8 turnovers per game.

Ball State (0-2) will be looking for its first win of the season, when it makes the trip to Evansville, as the Cardinals fell on the road at Purdue, 63-57, before suffering a 63-58 defeat to Pittsburgh Thursday night in Muncie, Ind.  Brittany Carter led BSU with 17 points in the loss to the Panthers, Brandy Wood grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds and Nathalie Fontaine added 11 points and nine boards.
