JACKSON, Miss. – The first day of the Jackson State Tournament was cancelled for the University of Evansville softball team due to rain in Jackson, Miss.
 
The Aces were set to face Nebraska-Omaha at 3:00 p.m. in the first day of tournament play before all games were cancelled due to rain. Evansville will try again on Saturday when they begin their day against Nebraska-Omaha at 11:00 a.m. before finishing the day against host Jackson State at 1:30 p.m.
