EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Due to the conditions at Drake’s field, the University of Evansville softball team will play host to the Bulldogs in Evansville on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
 
Originally slated to be in Des Moines on March 23 and 24, the series has now been moved to Cooper Stadium on Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19.
 
A doubleheader will begin the series at 4 p.m. on Monday with the second game set for 6 p.m.  Tuesday’s single game will have first pitch going at 3:30 p.m.
 
With the added home games, the Aces have a chance to play their first six Missouri Valley Conference games at home.  The Bluejays and Bulldogs enter league play with the top two records overall.  Creighton begins the weekend 14-8 while Drake is 14-10 and will play at Southern Illinois over the weekend before making the trek to Evansville.
