EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Just moments after earning a hard-fought win at Canisius in the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament, it was announced that the University of Evansville will be heading back to the state of North Carolina to face East Carolina.
 
The Aces will travel to Greenville for a 4 p.m. CT matchup.  It will be one of two contests with the winners advancing to the championship game.  The other game pits Northern Iowa against the winner of Wednesday’s Weber State/Oral Roberts game.
 
The Aces and Pirates have met just twice on the hardwood in a home-and-home series in 1998-99 and 1999-00.  The first meeting was an 82-79 ECU win in Greenville while Evansville defended Roberts Stadium to the tune of 68-63 win a year later.
