EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville women’s basketball head coach Oties Epps announced the signing of Paris McLeod to a National Letter of Intent (NLI) Tuesday morning.  McLeod, a 5-foot-7-inch guard from Detroit, will join the Purple Aces for the 2013-14 season.

Notable:  Averaged 19.5 points, 6.8 assists and 5.1 steals per game as a senior…led Inkster to its first undefeated regular season (19-0) in school history as a senior and an overall record of 89-10 during her four-year career…guided the Vikings to a Class A state championship in 2010-11, three district championships and three regional championships…named to the Detroit News Dream Team, first team all-metro, Detroit Free Press All-State Second Team and first-team all-area…named Inkster’s most valuable player as a senior, defensive player of the year as a junior and most improved player as a freshman…named to the MHSAA All-Academic Team during her senior season.
