EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville student-athletes Kelsey Costales and David Howard participated in the Missouri Valley Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee meetings recently in St. Louis.
 
The MVC SAAC is comprised of two student-athletes from each member institution and provides a voice for student-athletes to discuss issues relating to governance, student-athlete welfare and community service. 
 
Among the items discussed at the meeting were ways to expand outreach on campus and in the community.  Those items ranged from talent shows, team building, social events and giving back to various charities.  While at the meetings, the group held a sports clinic with the Special Olympics and Sports for Kids Foundation.
