Soccer balls will also be collected for the Kick for Nick Foundation, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes soccer balls to children in Iraq in honor of Private Nicholas Madaras, who was tragically killed in September 2006.  Being a passionate soccer player, Nick rounded up as many soccer balls as he could while in leave in July 2006 to give to the children near his post in Iraq.  Unfortunately, Nick was never able to personally distribute the soccer balls, and the Kick for Nick Foundation was established to fulfill his dream.
