EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville head men's soccer coach Mike Jacobs is scheduled to conduct a session at the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Convention to be held Jan. 15-19 in Philadelphia.
 
Jacobs is slated to present a session entitled "Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the College Game" on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 9:30-11:00 a.m.  He currently serves as the Vice President for Events for the NSCAA and will become the President of the NSCAA at next year's convention.
 
"The NSCAA creates unique opportunities for professional development and growth in coaching, and the Convention is a tremendous occasion for coaches of all levels to be able to do so," Jacobs said.  "To have the chance to present to your peers at the convention is humbling, and to be able to give back to the game and our coaching community means a lot."
 
The NSCAA is the largest coaches association in the world with over 30,000 members and over the years the NSCAA Convention has been described as the "World's Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches."  Convention attendees have expanded beyond just coaches to include administrators, referees, business leaders, players and fans.  It is a celebration of a year of accomplishments, new developments and professional growth.
 
"I am thankful to collaborate with our Aces' coaching staff (assistant coach Mike Pereira will also participate in the presentation), and look forward to being able to share insight with other coaching staffs from schools and teams around the United States and abroad," Jacobs said.
