EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville Men's and Women's Basketball teams are excited to announce Hoopfest 2014, presented by Heritage Federal Credit Union, will be held on Thursday, October 16.
 
The annual kickoff to basketball season will take place at the Ford Center with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the event beginning at 6:30 p.m.
 
The first 1,000 fans will receive a free Aces Hoopfest T-Shirt.
 
Those in attendance will be also be treated to player introductions, a 3-Point Challenge, Intra-squad Scrimmages, Slam Dunk Contest and Player Autographs.
 
The event is free to attend.
 
Fans can also enjoy $1.00 soft drinks, hot dogs, and popcorn.
