DES MOINES, Iowa – The University of Evansville women's tennis team will look to bring two Missouri Valley Conference Championships on Sunday in the final day of the MVC Individual Championships in Des Moines.

Flight one doubles will see
Marketa Trousilova and
Marina Moreno play for the top spot with
Mina Milovic having the same opportunity at No. 6 singles.

Trousilova and Moreno took down Alexa Brandt and Ashley Thai of Bradley, 8-5. Their matchup in Sunday's championship tilt are Wichita State's Luca Pump and Aleksandra Trifunovic, who earned an 8-4 win over SIU on Saturday.

Milovic picked up a win over Summer Schlotterback from Wichita State in flight six. She advanced to the championship, winning 6-4, 6-3. She is set up to face Tess Herder from Drake, who topped Liz Przystawski of Bradley on Saturday, 6-0 ,7-5.

Trousilova played in top flight singles, falling to Wichita's Abby Stevens, 6-3, 6-2. She is set to play Mariel Ante of Drake in Sunday's third-place tilt.Â
Natasha James clinched fifth place in the second flight. She defeated Meagan Monaghan of Southern Illinois, 6-3, 6-0.

Andjela Brguljan will play in the third-place match at flight three. On Saturday, she fell to Trifunovic (Wichita State), 6-2, 6-1. She faces Athena Chrysanthou of the Salukis. Flight four will see another UE player – Marina Moreno – play in the third-place game. Moreno fell to the Shockers' Giulia Guidetti, 6-4, 6-4. Moreno faces Drake's Nell Boyd on Sunday.

Kennedy Craig finished in sixth place in flight five singles. She opened consolation play by defeating Illinois State's Cricket Geldermann, 6-4, 6-3. In the fifth place game, she fell to Bradley's Ashley Thai, 5-7, 6-4, 10-6.

In doubles play, Moreno and Trousilova led the way in the top flight by advancing to the championship match. Flight two featured James and Milovic, who will play Ari Dechter and Irinka Toidze of Bradley in Sunday's third-place tilt. James and Milovic fell to Giulia Guidetti and Gabriela Porubin of WSU, 8-1.

In flight three, Craig and Brguljan lost to Illinois State's Geldermann and Natalai Parchowska by an 8-3 final.

The Aces look to bring home some hardware as they complete the tournament on Sunday morning.
