Name: Mallory Ladd

Hometown: Evansville, Indiana

10 QUESTIONS WITH MALLORY:

Favorite color:  Blue (royal blue  is my absolute favorite)

Favorite meal:  I love breakfast, I could eat it three times a day.  My all-time favorite is when my mom cooks the works for breakfast (sausage, biscuits, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs with cheese, cinnamon rolls, and nice glass of milk). haha

Favorite class:  My favorite class has been my Criminal Justice class called Policing, it was taught by Dr. Gray. I had so much fun and I love the topic.

Most inspirational person in your life:  Definitely my mother, we are more like sisters rather than mother and daughter. It is almost like we know what the other one is thinking or going to say.

Favorite basketball figure: Chris Mullen and Kevin Love are my two favorite basketball figures. I aspire to shoot like Chris Mullen and play all around basketball like Kevin Love.

Major:  Criminal Justice and Sociology

Reason you chose UE: I absolutely love being home and having my family come to every single home game. I also love that I can give back to a community that has given so much to me. The academics are amazing and the professors are unbelievable.  The support and the drive they instill in us just shows how much passion they have.

Most memorable UE moment: I would say being able to do an internship that allowed me to choose a career path in life. Over the summer I was able to do internships and really got a feel as to why I have a passion for Criminal Justice.

Most important goal as a student athlete: The most important goals for me as a student athlete would be to always make sure that I have my priorities in check, to always out work others, and to have fun while doing it.

What does being a Purple Ace mean to you: Being a Purple Ace means a lot. I have had the honor of being at this university for almost four years.  My college experience has taught me numerous amounts of life lessons, which I am going to be able use in the future. The University of Evansville has allowed me to travel, see the world, give back to the community, and to allow individuals to come out and support something that I love doing. I have made so many connections just from being a part of such a great college community. Being an athlete has allowed for my God- given talents to be taken to the next level. I couldn't be more thankful for what I have been given and have been allowed to do here. The people are amazing, the school is top-notch, and after leaving the University as a senior, I know and have a feeling I am going to do big things.
