EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Set for his first season as the Purple Aces head softball coach, Mat Mundell and his staff will hold a Winter Skills Clinic on Sunday, November 23.
 
Open to players in grades 9-12, the camp will be broken down into two sessions.  The first session will focus on hitting and defense while the second covers pitching.  Each session allows participants the opportunity to work with the coaching staff and players.
 
The hitting and defense portion will cover proper hitting, bunting, throwing and fielding techniques while the pitching session will teach the fundamentals and drills used at the collegiate level.
 
Those who are going to participate are asked to bring sneakers, glove, helmet, bat, catchers gear and a water bottle.  All pitchers are required to bring their own catcher.
