EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's basketball team held a Teddy Bear Toss at their game on December 6 and the team delivered over 50 Teddy Bears to Deaconess Riley Children's Hospital on Thursday.
 
Sophomore Sara Dickey, freshman Hannah Owens and freshman Taloni Reese personally drove to Deaconess Hospital and donated all of the collected Teddy Bears to the children.
 
"It is always fun to give back and it gives you a rewarding feeling," said Dickey.
 
UE looks to extend their winning streak to four on Thursday, December 18 when they host the Troy Trojans in a 5:30 pm tip at the Ford Center.
 
It is the first of two games that day as the Evansville men's basketball team plays Ohio University in the final contest of the doubleheader at 8:05 pm.
