EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville men's soccer head coach
Mike Jacobs has revealed the summer dates for his Aces Soccer Camps, which includes five separate camps in June and July. The Aces will hold and advanced day camp for boys from June 2-6, a day camp for both boys and girls from June 9-13, and an elite camp for middle school boys on June 21, before capping their camp season with a College ID Camp and Goalkeeper Academy on July 12-13.
The advanced day camps (June 2-6) are for boys U8-U13 are will run from 8 a.m. to Noon. The camp is geared toward the series travel or select player and is conducted by the UE coaching staff. The cost per camper is $160.
Evansville's other day camps (June 9-13) are offered to boys and girls in grades K-6 and are designed to teach fundamental skills. The cost per camper is $150 for a half-day session (9 a.m. – Noon) or $220 for a full-day session (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). For the day camps, campers are grouped by age and ability and the sessions include skill training and development, along with scrimmage matches.
The Middle School Elite Camp and Goalkeeper Academy (June 21) is for boys ages 11-14 and costs $185 per camper, while the College ID Camp and Goalkeeper Academy (July 12-13) is for boys ages 15-18. Both camps provided a highly competitive atmosphere for serious soccer players, where the focus is on technical and functional positional training. The camp will also include a college recruiting seminar for players that want to play at the collegiate level.
The Aces Soccer Camp Goalkeeper Academy is one of the finest in the country and the methodology used at the camp has been shared with goalkeepers that have gone on to play for United States National Teams, in Major League Soccer, in the Olympic Development Program and at the highest collegiate levels. The Goalkeeper Academy is held in conjunction with the College ID Camp and Middle School Elite Camp.
