Full Bracket

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Fresno State will be the opening opponent for the Purple Aces men's basketball team in the opening game of the Gulf Coast Classic in November.
 
The full tournament bracket for the tournament was released on Tuesday as the Aces and Bulldogs will square off in the second game on Monday, November 24 at 2:30 p.m. ET.  The winner advances to face the victor in the Green Bay/East Carolina contest on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
 
On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., the championship of the event will take place with the winner of UE's bracket slated to take on one of four schools from the bottom bracket – Florida Gulf Coast, Marist, San Francisco or Hawaii.
 
Five out of the possible seven team the Aces can play in the event won 20 or more games last year, including the opening match-up versus Fresno State.   Last year, the Bulldogs went 21-18 overall on their way to the finals of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). 
 
The top record in the tournament belongs to Green Bay, who went 24-7 a season ago.  Florida Gulf Coast posted 22 victories while San Francisco and Hawaii checked in with 21 and 20 wins, respectively.
