EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Head out to Turoni's in Newburgh tonight as Purple Aces head basketball coach Marty Simmons will host his weekly radio show from 6-7 p.m.  Simmons has led his team to a 15-5 overall record and a 5-3 record in the first 8 games of Missouri Valley Conference play.

The University of Evansville is coming off of back-to-back victories over the last week, beginning with a road triumph at Loyola.  Evansville topped the Ramblers by a 65-56 final behind 13 points from Blake Simmons.  On Saturday, the Aces welcomed the 1964-65 NCAA National Championship Team for its game against Southern Illinois.  UE delivered a 75-66 win over the Salukis as D.J. Balentine scored 25.

Fans are reminded that there will not be a show on Monday, February 2 due to the team traveling to Illinois State.  The next show will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, February 9.
