TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's basketball team (10-9, 5-3) begins a stretch of three consecutive road games when the Aces play at in-state rival Indiana State on Sunday afternoon. The game will be held at the Hulman Center in Terre Haute, Ind. and begin at 1:05 p.m. CST.

With a win, UE will have three straight road victories. Evansville seeks their third straight win at Indiana State, something the Aces have not accomplished since 1999-2001.

UE is first in the MVC with a 37.4% three-point field-goal percentage. Evansville is also 15
th in the country in three-point field-goal percentage.

UE has lost back to back games including a 79-62 defeat in their last game vs. UNI on Sunday. Guard
Sara Dickey scored a game-high 27 points in the loss. Guard
Khristian Hart also totaled 16 points for UE.

On the stat sheet, Evansville's Dickey (18.1 points per game), forward
Mallory Ladd (15.3) and Hart (10.8) are all averaging double figures. Dickey also has the most assists (55) and steals (32) for UE this year. Ladd is notching a team-best 0.9 blocks per game. Forward
Sasha Robinson is securing 8.2 rebounds per game, a team-high. UE is averaging 64.4 points and 33.2 rebounds per game. The Aces make 41.3% of their field goals, 37.4% of threes, and 63.9% at the free throw line.

Indiana State (13-6, 3-5) has also lost two straight games including a narrow 57-55 loss to Northern Iowa on Sunday. Forward Rachel Mahan scored a team-high 16 points. Forward Jasmine Grier tallied 10 points off the bench.

Statistically, Mahan paces the Sycamores with a team-best 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game. Guard Travecia Franklin leads Indiana State with 46 assists. Guard Natasha Zurek has more steals than any of her teammates with 48. Indiana State is averaging 63.3 points and 39.6 rebounds per game. The Sycamores shoot 38.1% from the floor, 28.8% beyond the arc and 63.3% at the charity stripe.

Evansville is projected to finish fourth in the MVC preseason poll, their highest projection since 2008-2009. Indiana State was voted fifth in the MVC preseason poll. Dickey was named to the MVC preseason team. The Sycamores didn't have any players highlighted on the league's preseason team. Evansville is guided by fourth year head coach Oties Epps as Indiana State is led by first year head coach Joey Wells. Â

The Sycamores lead the all-time series 31-15. The teams split the meetings last season including wins by each of the road teams.

Evansville is back at home on Friday, Feb. 13 when the Aces host the Southern Illinois Salukis. The tip is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.
