UE GAME NOTES
CINCINNATI - The University of Evansville women's soccer team (3-9-2) continue a three game road swing when the Purple Aces visit the University of Cincinnati (9-4-4) on Sunday, Oct. 18. The match will be held at Gettler Stadium and begin at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
WHAT TO KNOW- This match is the second of three consecutive road matches for UE, who is not at home again until the MVC regular season finale against Missouri State (Oct. 29)
- The Aces eye their first non-conference road win this season (0-5)
- UE enters this contest off their first MVC win of the year at Indiana State (Oct. 14)

THE OPPONENTCincinnati ended a two-game losing stretch with a 3-0 American Athletic Conference victory over East Carolina on Friday night. Senior midfielder Danielle Rotheram leads the Bearcats with seven goals, three assists and 17 points this season. Cincinnati has split time in goal this season between senior Sam Pavlika (0.76 GAA, 35 saves and .854 saves percentage) and redshirt junior Natalie Smith (0.76 GAA, 32 saves, .821 saves percentage).
THE COACHESEvansville is led by eighth year head coach
Krista McKendree, a four year standout with the Purple Aces and the only All-American in UE women's soccer history.
Cincinnati's head coach is Neil Stafford in his third season.
HISTORYUC leads the all-time series with UE 4-3-2. Evansville is 2-2-1 in matches at Cincinnati, including victories in 1995 and 1997 (the last Purple Aces win in the series history). The teams have not met since 2004.

LAST MEETINGUE fell 2-0 in the last meeting at Cincinnati (2004). The Bearcats scored a goal in the first minute and another goal in the second half for the home victory. Evansville goalkeeper Whitney Raeon made eight saves in the match.

GOING FOR FOUR!The UE women's soccer team has three shutouts this season and will be looking for their fourth shutout of the year. Evansville has shutout the Bearcats twice in the nine total meetings.
IN THE CLASSROOMUE women's soccer received an NSCAA College Team Academic Award (Sept. 23) for their 3.47 GPA in the 2014-15 academic year. This is their ninth straight year receiving the honor and 11th overall.
WHAT AN HONORBoswell was named MVC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 15) for her two goal game vs. IUPUI. This is the first Player of the Week honor in her collegiate career.
TALE OF TWO HALVESEvansville is outscoring their opponents 8-7 in the first half but being outpaced 12-4 after halftime.
GOOD BEHAVIORThe Purple Aces have only received two yellow card and no red cards this season.
WE'RE NUMBER ONEThe UE women's soccer team was ranked #1 in the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference preseason coach's poll. The Aces will look to unseat back to back champion Illinois State for the title this year. Boswell, Busby, and sophomore forward

NATIONAL HONORBusby missed the team's first two games competing for the Guyana National Team in CONCACAF Qualifying. They won 8-0 over St. Kitts and Nevis and then tied Cuba 1-1. Guyana advanced to the next round over Cuba on goal differential.
UP FOR THE CHALLENGEEvansville will play three teams that completed last season in the RPI Top 100. Those opponents are Illinois State (32), Miami (Ohio) (58), and Vanderbilt (96).
HOSTING THE CHAMPIONSHIPEvansville is hosting the 2015 MVC Women's Soccer Championship this year. The semifinals will take place on Fri., Nov. 6 with the Championship match to take place on Sun., Nov. 8. All matches will be held at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville, Ind.
