- UE enters the tournament after three straight victories against conference foes
- With a victory, the Aces will advance to the MVC Championship match
- Evansville is hosting the tournament for the first time since 2013.
- The Aces are 11-3-2 all-time against UNI including an 8-0 home mark. The teams have never met in the MVC Tournament.
THE OPPONENTUNI finished sixth in the MVC regular season but upset #3 Missouri State 2-1 in the Quarterfinals (Nov. 1). The Panthers enter the tournament with only one loss in their last five matches (2-1-2). Annie Dale leads UNI with five goals and is tied with Katie Witt for a team-best 11 points. Sarah Brandt has the most assists of any Panther with four. Goalkeeper Whitney Blunt holds a 0.88 goals against average, 91 saves and a .843 saves percentage.
THE COACHESEvansville is led by eighth year head coach
Krista McKendree, a four year standout with the Purple Aces and the only All-American in UE women's soccer history.
UNI is guided by James Price in his seventh season as Panthers head coach.
HISTORYUE is 11-3-2 all-time against UNI including an 8-0 mark at home. The Aces were victorious 3-0 in the last meeting at McCutchan Stadium (Oct. 25, 2014). This is the first MVC Tournament meeting between the two schools.

LAST HOME MEETINGUE shutout UNI 3-0 at home on Senior Day (Oct. 25, 2014). The Aces tied a program record with their 12
th shutout of the year, only to be surpassed with their 13
th shutout in a 2-0 win over Drake in the MVC Semifinals (Nov. 7, 2014).

Allie Arguello scored the only goal on a converted penalty kick in the 22nd minute. Junior goalkeeper
Whitney Biggs made four saves, all in the second half for the victory. The win earned the Aces a bye and the #2 seed in the MVC Tournament.
BIG HONORWhitney Biggs was named the MVC Goalkeeper of the Week (Nov. 4). Filling in for an injured Simone Busby, Biggs recorded four saves versus Missouri State to earn her first career solo shutout.
THREE IN A ROWAfter facing the possibility of being the #6 seed in the MVC Tournament, Evansville has won three consecutive conference matches at Indiana State (Oct. 14), at Illinois State (Oct. 25) and Missouri State to springboard into the #2 seed.

Bronwyn Boswell leads the Purple Aces with three goals, eight points, 44 shots, 17 shots on goal and one game winning goal this season.
Allie Arguello has a team-best three assists, while also ranking second in goals (two) and points (seven). Senior goalkeeper
Simone Busby has the lowest GAA (1.08), 41 saves and highest saves percentage (.759) on the Aces this season.

SENIOR DAYEvansville held a Senior Day ceremony on Oct. 10. The Aces honored six student athletes and one athletic training student. The six senior student athletes are midfielder

IN THE CLASSROOMUE women's soccer received an NSCAA College Team Academic Award (Sept. 23) for their 3.47 GPA in the 2014-15 academic year. This is their ninth straight year receiving the honor and 11th overall.
WHAT AN HONORBronwyn Boswell was named MVC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 15) for her two goal game vs. IUPUI. This is the first Player of the Week honor in her collegiate career.
TALE OF TWO HALVESEvansville has outscored their opponents 9-8 in the opening half this season but the Aces are being outpaced 16-6 after halftime.
WE'RE NUMBER ONEThe UE women's soccer team was ranked #1 in the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference preseason coach's poll.

Montana Portenier were named to the preseason All-Conference team. Sophomore midfielder/forward Nicki Baham received honorable mention.
NATIONAL HONORBusby missed the team's first two games competing for the Guyana National Team in CONCACAF Qualifying. They won 8-0 over St. Kitts and Nevis and then tied Cuba 1-1. Guyana advanced to the next round over Cuba on goal differential.
UP FOR THE CHALLENGEEvansville played three teams this season that completed last year in the RPI Top 100. Those opponents are Illinois State (32), Miami (Ohio) (58), and Vanderbilt (96).
