Game Notes
 
 EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville Women's Softball Team will travel to Auburn, AL this weekend to start off their season as they compete in the Plainsman Invite.  The Plainsman Invite will be the first of four tournaments the Aces will compete in throughout the month of February.
 
The Plainsman Invite will include the likes of George Washington, UT Chattanooga, Appalachian State, UAB, and the host Auburn.  All these programs will present solid tests early for the Aces.  The Aces will face George Washington on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. and UT Chattanooga later that afternoon at 2:30 p.m.  On Saturday the Aces will face Appalachian State at 9:00 a.m. and Auburn and 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.  The Aces will wrap up on Sunday with a 9:00 a.m. game with UAB.
 
The Aces bring 10 new faces in this year along with first year head coach Mat Mundell.  The Aces will looks to improve off their 19-32 mark from last year.  The Aces were picked 10^th in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason rankings and Chandra Parr represented the Aces on the preseason All MVC Team. 
 
The Aces will have their first home stand on March 14-15 when they take on Loyola in conference play.
