ORLANDO, Fla. – A perfect results saw the University of Evansville women's tennis team take a 7-0 victory over Bucknell in the first of three games this week in Orlando.

Evansville improved to 7-3 this spring with the victory. A quick start saw the Purple Aces take two doubles tilts to earn the opening point.Â
Marketa Trousilova and
Natasha James defeated Maria Cioffi and Michele Urbinati, 8-3, at top doubles. Flight two featured an 8-6 win by
Marina Moreno and
Kennedy Craig. The duo defeated Alyssa McAndrew and Lisa Jouravleva. Flight three did not finish due to the Aces clinching the point.

The clean sweep of the day carried over into singles. James rolled at #1 singles, topping Cioffi, 6-3, 6-3. Moreno played in the second flight on Tuesday and defeated Jouravleva, 6-1, 6-2.Â

Craig kept it rolling at flight three. She earned the win over Stephanie Pino, 6-4, 6-3, while
Mina Milovic topped Madeline Melch in the fourth flight, 6-2, 6-3.

At #5 singles
Andjela Brguljan topped Melissa Parks, 6-4, 6-2 while
Gaby Fifer made it a perfect day in the sixth flight. She beat Christie Schneider, 6-4, 6-1.

Hoping to capitalize on a stellar match today, the Aces will be right back on the court tomorrow. They face Quinnipiac in an 11 a.m. CT match in Orlando.
