The Skyhawks were able to get more production from Gonzales in the bottom of the fifth when she connected for her third home run of the game.  This one was a two run shot that scored Aeron Smith.  Later in the inning, Samantha McClure was able to score off of a wild pitch making the score 14-7.

In the top, of the sixth Morgan Lambert kept the Aces going by hitting a solo home run of her own making the score 14-8.  Freeman was then able to grab another single scoring Ashlee Kawall making the score 14-9.  Ferguson then came to the plate with the bases loaded and singled scoring three more runs making the score 14-11 in favor of the Skyhawks, which would be the final score in the end.

In game two, Freeman got things going quick with a fifth home run of the year.  The solo shot gave the Aces a quick 1-0 over the Skyhawks.  It wasn't until the bottom of the fourth that the game finally saw some more action.  Kenzi Tate was able to reach off of an error which allowed Samantha McClure to score tying the game at 1-1.  Alicia Hansen followed that with a single scoring Tate and giving UT Martin a 2-1 lead.  After advancing around the bases Hansen was then able to steal home making the score 3-1.  In the bottom of the Skyhawks were able to grab two more runs off a pair of singles to make the score 5-1 to secure the victory.
