TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Cathy Doyle jumped over 20 spots in the finishing order as the University of Evansville women's golf team completed the Indiana State Spring Invite on Monday at the Country Club of Terre Haute.

Ranking in a tie for 47
th following the first round of play, Doyle posted the low round of the day for the Purple Aces – a 75 – to finish in a tie for 22
nd place overall with a 158.

Leading UE in the standings was Kayla Katterhenry. She followed up Sunday's round of 74 with a 78 on her way to a tie for 5
th place. It marked her fifth top five finish in the same number of spring events in 2015, one of the top stretches in program history.

Finishing in a tie for 43
rd place was Giulia Mallmann. She cut two strokes off of Sunday's 83 to finish Monday's round with an 81. Her 2-round total came in at 164. Two behind her was Maggie Camp. She also improved by two strokes on Monday, carding an 82 to finish at 166.

Dana Hayden posted a 91 in the final day to complete the event with a 177. Kelly Lamarche was UE's top finishing individual. An 87 on Monday saw her finish with a 172. Rachel Marchi wrapped up the invite with a 179 after posting a 92 in the final round.

As a team, Evansville remained in ninth place in the standings with a 640. They finished up six shots behind South Dakota and 11 ahead of 10
th-place Dayton. Indiana State took top honors in the event. Tied with Bradley after the first day, the Sycamores recorded a 308 in the final round to finish seven strokes ahead of William Woods.

The Sycamore's Marissa Uradomo took medalist with a score of 148. She led the pack on Sunday with a 72 and was able to hang on despite shooting a 76 in the final round. She finished one ahead of teammate Amanda Smith and Bradley's Ally Scaccia.

Up next for the squad is the MVC Championship. Set for April 19-21, the tournament will be held at Spirit Hollow in Burlington, Iowa.
