Final ResultsBURLINGTON, Iowa – After being named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2014, University of Evansville sophomore Kayla Katterhenry followed that up with an All-Conference berth as the Purple Aces wrapped up the MVC Championship at Spirit Hollow Golf Course.

As a team, the Aces came home in 8
th place with a final tally of 976. As a whole, the tournament was one of the Aces' best performances in the conference championship since joining the MVC. UE finished 11 strokes behind Loyola while Indiana State took sixth.Â

Katterhenry finished the tournament in a tie for 18
th place with a 241. She opened the event with a 77 before firing off rounds of 83 and 81. Her efforts for the duration of her sophomore campaign resulted in the All-Conference nod. She was one of just 11 players to earn the accolade.

Finishing her UE career on a high note was Cathy Doyle. She also spent the vast majority of the tournament amongst the lead group before coming home in a tie for 23
rd. She tallied a 243 with her low round of the tournament being a 75 on Sunday.

Tying for 30
th were Maggie Camp and Giulia Mallmann. Each registered 3-round scores of 246. Camp carded an 83 on Tuesday with Mallmann checking in with an 85. Dana Hayden completed the UE contingent with a 274.

Top honors in both the team and individual sides went to Wichita State. The Shockers extended their final advantage to 13 strokes over 2
nd-place Missouri State. WSU finished at 924 while the Bears finished with a final of 937. Southern Illinois completed the top three with a 948. All five Shockers finished the event in the top 21.

Alejandra Arellano made it a clean sweep for WSU as her final of 222 topped SIU's Brooke Cusamano by six shots.Â
