EVANSVILLE, Ind. – WEHT/WTVW has announced that it will televise a "March to the Arch" special featuring University of Evansville head men's basketball coach Marty Simmons along with members of the team on Wednesday evening at 9:30 p.m.
 
"It's been an incredible season for the Aces.  We hope March to the Arch gives Aces fans across the Tri-State a chance to relive this year and get ready for what we all hope will be a run to the NCAA Tournament," station Sports Director Randall Parmley said.
 
The Purple Aces go into Arch Madness with a 23-8 mark and are the second seed in the tournament.  The run is the best for UE since 1999 when the squad won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season crown.
 
Evansville begins the tournament on Friday at 6 p.m. and will face the winner of Thursday's Missouri State/Drake game.  Fans heading out to St. Louis are reminded of the pre-game party that will be held at the Lumiere downtown.  More information can be found on GoPurpleAces.com.
