Evansville, IN– The University of Evansville Women's Tennis Team (6-11, 0-0) traveled to Nashville, TN on Friday to take on Lipscomb.  Lipscomb was able to defeat the Aces by a score of 5-2.  The Aces will complete their weekend action on Sunday when they play host to Kentucky Wesleyan.
 
In the match, the Aces were able to pick up victories at flight one and two singles.  Andjela Brguljan was able to defeat Hannah Gamage by a score of 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.  At flight two singles Katie Delgado was able defeat Katerina Kandyba by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
 
Coach Jayson Wiseman said, "The players we had today gave a great effort and came very close to pulling off a victory despite playing shorthanded Andjela and Katie got a couple of very good wins at #1 and #2 singles today.  But playing without two of our top four players due to injury, and another playing at about 60% healthy it was just too much to overcome. It's frustrating for both the players and me that we just can't seem to get healthy. Even more so with the circumstances of some of our injuries. Hopefully we can get close to 100% by the time the MVC schedule starts in two weeks."

The Aces will be back in action on Sunday when they play host to Kentucky Wesleyan.  The match is slated for a 4:00 p.m. CST.  The match will take place at Wessleman's Park.
