PEORIA, Ill. – Trailing 3-1 in the top of the 6
th inning, Susan Norris belted a 3-run game-tying home run, but Bradley scored a run in the bottom of the 7
th to earn a 5-4 win over the University of Evansville softball team on Sunday afternoon.

For Norris, it was her second home run of the season for the Purple Aces (14-18, 2-7 MVC). Michal Luckett also hit a solo shot in the third. Morgan Florey went the distance in the circle, pitching 6 2/3 innings, giving up five runs on eight hits. Bradley (11-18, 6-3 MVC) scored three runs in the second inning and one in the third. After UE tied the game in the sixth, the Braves hit a walk-off single in the seventh as Erika Hansen knocked in the game-winner.

Bradley got the scoring started on a Kelly Kapp triple in the second inning that saw three runs score. Luckett's homer in the third got one of the runs back before Bradley got it right back with a run in the third.

Chandra Parr got the sixth inning started with a double to left-center. With two outs, Hayli Soctt drew a walk to put two runners on for Norris. After a great day at the plate on Saturday, Norris delivered once again, hitting a home run to right-center to tie the game up at 4-4. The Braves clinched the game in the seventh. With one out, Kapp hit a triple to left before scoring on Hansen's single.

Evansville is back home on Wednesday for a doubleheader against Austin Peay. Game times are set for 3 and 5 p.m.
