Box Score LEXINGTON, Ky. - In its final non-conference match of the season, the University of Evansville men's soccer team dropped a road match to No. 3 Kentucky, 4-0, in Lexington, Ky. on Wednesday evening.

"Every guy we had tonight battled and fought tonight for 90 minutes against a very good University of Kentucky team. We're looking forward to getting back into Valley play with only Valley matches left the rest of the season. Every point counts. It's going to be a battle again on Saturday against Valpo. Both teams needing points. We hope everybody will come out and support us on Senior Night and enjoy the homecoming festivities."
To begin the match, Kentucky tallied six shots in the opening 20 minutes of the match as the Purple Aces defense held strong not along any of the six to come on-goal.
