Last Game: Loyola 61, Evansville 56 (Chicago, Ill., Jan. 18

• Opening a northern road trip, Evansville battled back, but came up just short in a 61-56 loss to Loyola on Friday afternoon.
• Senior guard Brooke Bishop led the way for Evansville with 14 points on the afternoon, including 10 in the opening quarter.
• Also finishing in double-figures for the Aces was senior guard Kerri Gasper who scored 11 points and recorded 10 rebounds, becoming the 20th player in program history to reach 1,000 points in their career. Gasper reach the milestone on a three-point play, getting to the basket and being fouled in the process and hitting a free throw to achieve the mark.
• Gasper's double-double was her fourth of the season and first since a 12-point, 11-rebounds performance against SEMO on Dec. 8.
• Freshman guard Makayla Wallace tallied her fourth-straight game scoring double-digits with 10 points, adding five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Next Opponent: at Valparaiso

• Evansville and Valparaiso are meeting for the 15th time in series history.
• In the last meeting between the two sides, the Crusaders earned a 67-54 win over Evansville on Feb. 25, 2018 in Evansville, Ind..
• The Aces are looking for their first win in the series with Valpo since a 70-65 victory on Nov. 30, 2016 in Valparaiso, Ind.
• Valpo has won the last two contests, but Evansville has captured wins in three of the last five matchups.

Gasper's Milestone

• In Friday's contest at Loyola, senior guard Kerri Gasper became just the 20th player in program history to reach 1,000 points in their career.
• Gasper follows former teammate Sara Dickey, who reached 1,000 points on Feb. 15, 2015.
• Nearing another milestone, Gasper needs 59 more rebounds to reach 500 career rebounds.
• In the MVC, Gasper is one of seven active players who have reached 1,000 points with Drake's Becca Jonas poised to join the club this season as well.
