EVANSVILLE, Ind. – After three weeks off, the Purple Aces are back in action at the Fast Cats Classic, at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro, Ken.
 

• The men's 8K race will kick off the meet at 9 a.m., before the women's 5K beginning at 9:50 a.m.
• Last time out UE broke records and earned titles at the Austin Peay Cross Country Classic. Anna Lowry paced the Aces women's team, rewriting the school record, meet and personal record in the 5K with a 16:46.42 championship race.
• As a team the Aces defended its title on the women's side at Austin Peay, while the men captured second place with the top seven finishers in the top-21.
• The Aces return 19 between the men and women's squad and add 10 newcomers.
• At the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Championship Lowry put together a strong performance, finishing in 15^th with a personal best 17:55 5K race.
• Stanley Chepchieng was the pace setter on the men's squad with a 16:23.17 5K.
