EVANSVILLE, Ind., -- The University of Evansville men's and women's swimming and diving team continuities the season with a matchup against McKendree University on Friday afternoon.
 

• Friday's meet will take place at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex with diving beginning at 10 a.m. followed by swimming at 1 p.m.
• The Aces are coming off a pair of home team wins against Eastern Illinois. The women's team took the 162-70 win, while the men won 121-79. The two wins marked the first home wins for first year Aces head coach Stu Wilson.
• Sarah Jahns set the 200-yard backstroke against Eastern Illinois. Jahns first place finish, 2:04.53 was almost two seconds faster than the previous record set back in 2013. Jahns also added a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a 2:00.51 time.
• Paul Cozzens took three even titles last time out, with wins in the 200-yard IM (1:59.33), 200-yard butterfly (1:57.34) and in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:13.87).
• UE returns 23 athletes to the women's side, while adding seven freshman. On the men's side the Aces return 17 with seven newcomers.
• Stu Wilson was announced as the Aces new head coach for the 2019-20 season on April 30.
