EVANSVILLE, Ind., -- The University of Evansville men's and women's cross country team is set to host the eighteenth-annual University of Evansville Invitational.
 

• The meet will be hosted at the Angel Mounds State Historical Site. The men's 8K race will begin at 10 a.m. with the women's 5K following after.
• The anticipated teams to compete at the meet are; Marshall, Western Kentucky, Purdue Fort Wayne, Morehead State, Kentucky State, Oakland City, Thomas More, Vincennes, Western Kentucky Community College and IU Run Club.
• Last year at the Aces lone home event, the women's team picked-up a second-place finish with the men's team finishing in fourth.
• Junior Anna Lowry is pacing the Purple Aces this fall, winning her third consecutive event title at the Fast Cats Classic last weekend.
• Admission to Angel Mounds is $5 and results will be posted after the event on GoPurpleAces.com.
