EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The University of Evansville men's and women's cross country teams get set for the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference championships, Saturday in Valparaiso, Ind.
 

• The championship event will be held on Saturday, Nov.2 at Sunset Hill Farm Country Park. The men's 8K race is slated to start at 10:30 a.m. CT, followed by the women's 5K at 11:30 a.m. CT.
• Heading into the 5K race on Saturday, Anna Lowry holds the fastest time in the conference. Her 16:46.42 race at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival (Sept. 21) rewrote the program record and earned Lowry MVC runner of the week.
• Lowry has earned individual wins in the past four consecutive events, winning by an average of 59 seconds.
• On the men's side Dawson Hood holds the fastest 8K on the team, set at the UE Invitational two weeks ago. His 26:07.3 time was a new personal best and earned him 10^th place at the UE Invitational.
