CARBONDALE, Il.– The men's and women's swimming and diving team closed out a three day event at the SIU Invitational.
 
Ashton Adams placed in the top four in three events during the event. Taking third place in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:03.75, fourth place in the 400-yard IM at 4:38.22 and second place in the 1650 yard freestyle at 17:20.51.
 
Maya Cunningham competed in the 200 IM (2:08.41), 400 medley relay (3:55.87), 200 medley relay (1:49.00), 400 IM (4:31.53) and the 200 fly (2:07.16), placing in the top three in each.
 
Brandt Hudson helped the Aces post second place finishes in the 200-yard free relay (1:24.41), 800-yard free relay (6:50.66), 400-yard free relay and the 400-yard medley relay (3:24.21). While also taking third in the 100 back (50.78) and second in the 200-yard back (1:50.37).
 
Paul Cozzens took fourth in the 200-yard IM (1:53.92), took second in the 400-yard IM (4:00.97) and third in the 200-yard fly (1:51.45).
 
The Aces wrapped up the fall season and will be back in action against Missouri State on January 11.
