EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Saturday's meet against Valparaiso saw the University of Evansville swimming and diving teams put up solid efforts at Deaconess Aquatic Center. The Beacons took both team victories with the men finishing at 145-117 and the women's score checking in at 157-105 in favor of the Beacons.

Logan Tenison, Jesse Montano, Victor Dyrhauge, and Michael Pruett took top honors in the 400-Medley Relay finishing in 3:21.45. Alex Willis was victorious in the 200-fly with a time of 1:55.24 while Decklin Jeffs was victorious in the 200-breaststroke race, finishing in 2:07.79. Dyrhauge picked up two victories on the day including the 50-free (21.01) and 100-fly (49.32).
 
The men completed the day with a victory in the 200-free relay with a combined time of 1:23.50.
 
Multiple strong performances came on the women's side as well with Ane Madina Garate, Claire Mewbourne, Grace Moody, and Lily Clark winning the 400-medley relay in 3:52.15. Clark followed that up with a time of 1:56.82 in the 200-free to earn a win. Madina Garate added a win of her own in the 200-back with a finish of 2:06.80. In the 100-fly, Jadyn Dauphinais led the way with a 57.57 to pick up a victory while Jillian Giese was the top finisher in the 200-IM (2:10.17).
