- Closing out a three-game homestand, the Aces battled Indiana State in a narrow 76-69 loss on Friday evening inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.
- After trailing 22-12 following the first quarter, Evansville out-scored the Sycamores, 57-54, over the final three quarters.
- Senior Kerri Gasper led the Aces with 19 points and tied a career-high 12 rebounds, giving Gasper her fifth double-double of the season.
- Joining Gasper in double-figures were fellow seniors Marley Miller and Brooke Bishop, who each finished with 14 points.
- Tying a career-high, freshman Makayla Wallace recorded five assists to go along with seven points.
- Coming off the bench, freshman Anna Newman scored eight points, all coming at the free-throw line.
- Finding their rhythm in the second quarter, the Aces shot 51.1% (24-47) from the field, the first time Evansville shot higher than 50% since Dec. 10 against Morehed State when UE shot 56.5%.
