EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After a career game at Indiana State on Friday evening, University of Evansville women's basketball senior guard Kerri Gasper has been named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, it was announced in a release by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Against Indiana State, Gasper became just the fourth Ace to score 34-or-more points and tied a program regulation for most points scored in a regulation game with 34-points, shooting 6-7 from beyond the arc and a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line. Gasper's 34 points were the most by an Ace since Sara Dickey scored a program record 37 points against Murray State on Dec. 3, 2014.

Earning the honor, Gasper is the first Ace to be named MVC Player of the Week since the first week of the 2017-18 season when Hannah Noe received the honor and the sixth student-athlete under head coach Matt Ruffing to be named conference player of the week.

The Aces return to competition this week to close out the regular season, beginning with a contest with Missouri State at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.
