EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After a weekend away from competition, the University of Evansville women's golf team returns to the course on Sunday and Monday at the Indiana State Invitational at Terre Haute Country Club in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Aces will face a 13-team field including four other Missouri Valley Conference sides including Indiana State, Loyola, UNI, and Valparaiso along with Butler, Cal Baptist, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, Purdue Fort Wayne, Western Illinois, and Youngstown State.

Two weeks ago, Evansville earned a spot on the podium, finishing third in a 14-team field at the Saluki Invite at Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Carbondale, Ill. Closing out the tournament, Evansville finished with a final-round 318 to record a team-total of 631 in the two-round tournament.

Carding a 76 on back-to-back days, Sophia Rohleder paced Evansville with a second-place finish with a two-round total of 152. Rohleder completed the tournament eight-strokes back of the tournament medalist. Helping to bolster the Aces team score, Madison Chaney finished in a tie for eighth, recording a 79 in the final round to give Chaney a total of 156 (77 - 79).
 
Also finishing inside the top 20 was Sydney Anderson, who tallied a second-round 83, placing Anderson in a tie for 16th. Improving upon her opening round, Alyssa McMinn finished with a two-round total of 164 (83 - 81), finishing in a tie for 30th after a two-stroke improvement in the second round.

As an individual, Caitlin O'Donnel finished in a tie for 36th, remaining consistent with 83s in both rounds for a tournament-total of 166. Moving up the leaderboard on the final day, Lexie Sollman improved in the second round with an 82, finishing the invite with a total of 167, closing the tournament in a tie for 39th.

The two-round tournament begins with the first round on Sunday with teams teeing-off at 9 a.m. (CT) at Terre Haute Country Club in Terre Haute, Ind.
