SILVIS, Ill. – Kate Petrova and Louise Standtke pace the University of Evansville women's golf team following the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship at TPC at Deere Run.
First Round Results
Petrova is in a tie for 20
th place with a score of 79. She completed the day at 7-over-par. Standtke wrapped up the first round with an 8-over 80. Her score is tied for 24
th.

Jane Grankina carded an 82 to open the tournament. Her score is tied for 28
th. Trinity Dubbs rounded out the scores with an 84. She is tied for 36
th. The Purple Aces are limited to four players due a withdrawal due to injury.

UE is in 8
th place in the team standings with a 325. They are two behind Indiana State for 7
th place. Murray State holds the team lead with a 304 while Bradley is three behind in second place. Ella Scherer of the Racers and Alyssa Mixon from the Braves lead the individual standings with scores of 73.
