EVANSVILLE, Ind. – As part of an effort that spanned the entire university, student-athletes at the University of Evansville helped raise donations and awareness for the Tri-State Food Bank through the LEAD Forward Dollar Challenge.
DONATE - VOLUNTEER DIRECTLY
In a fundraising initiative, Evansville student-athletes competed against other groups from across campus to raise money for the Tri-State Food Bank. As an athletics department alone, the Aces student-athletes raised $821.47 during the challenge.
Money raised will go directly to the Tri-State Food Bank and will help fund meals. For every dollar raised, the Tri-State Food Bank can feed seven people. In all, the $821.47 that Evansville student-athletes raised can fund more than 5,700 meals for the Tri-State Bank.
Donations are still being accepted and volunteers are still needed for the Tri-State Food Bank. For more information, visit the links above.
